Whoa, reading that reply and the referenced thread put me into an "electronics illiteracy" seizure! It's like reading a foreign language! My cell phone does phone calls only (well it might take pictures) and is just not up to any of the gee-whiz standards of today's "wired" masses. I am what most folks would consider the opposite of a tech-geek! I DO have a laptop, though.
Can't I just go to some store or online outlet and buy a handheld reader for these troubleshooting codes? And maybe acquire code definitions from somewhere on the web? Is that even an option these days?
