Since you will get the RCA connector "free".. and it's not a major issue to change.. I'd run it and see if your good with the volume levels.. a few on here "swear" to the quality being better.. haven't tried it myself.

I don't have it handy or I'd link you up.. but find the pin locations threads and get a little familiar with them. There is one showing the back of the stereo and what is going where. Most likely will just be a swap yellow and orange and add the blue "remote turn on".. easy peasy..
