I was just sticking to what I actually "know" by experience.. but have to agree here. If the tire shops could access our cars systems.. why would we be going to the dealer for programming on them.. Seems there have been a few with successful TPMS replacements, but they haven't gone into a "full" detail .. who, what brand etc. My Chrysler dealer did quote me a price of about $450 when my freebies didn't pan out. I find the orange makes a nice night light while driving in the dark.. LOL
