They rubbed enough to take some effort to spin the tire by hand. When back on the ground they were fine, but I never heard anyone else mention this.
And I think next time I will go with 275/30/19. The 35s look like to much side wall to me for the car and have completely changed the look of the car.
Didn't have a problem with the 285's I ran at all. I have heard of that in some threads, but didn't encounter it in my car. Would be interesting to find out where the differences are and why they fit some cars but not others.
