Thanks for the write-up and pics. I wasn't 100% sure that the connector wasn't attached with a clip or anything, until I saw your pics. Took 5 minutes to replace the passenger headlight.
I have very strong hands from my job, but that stupid connector took a solid 2 minutes of pulling before it popped off. At first I thought I broke something, but all is well. I wasn't anywhere near my toolbox, but next time I'll use some 45 degree needle nose pliers instead of my fingers
Use surgeon type nitrile gloves to avoid getting oils from your skin on the new bulb
