HOW TO replace headlight bulb. Pictured step by step instructions
Some companies just want to spoil your fun all the time.
Solution.
Retire, don't get old, just retire.
I always said why work until 65, we should be able to start work at 65 and work till the end.

- Old people forget everything at that age, so even though they will have lots of experience it will not help because they'll not remember it.
- It will take more people to do the same amount of work, so the unemployment figures will go down.
- No worry about any low pay because they will not be saving for their old age
- No retirement plans needed.
- The saying 'I'm getting worked to death' will be true.
Dave: I just love and want to ditto your assessment of old age...priceless and true>>>LOL...Carl
Hi all im having problem finding "how to change bulbs" my tiny side light in headlamp has gone,iv tried and tried but cant get it out HELP ! PLEASE
Need a little reassurance that the socket comes out just by pulling. I have read this thread and am working to replace the passenger low beam. I can reach the socket (circled part in picture 3) but as hard as I pull it won't come out. I'm about to grab it with a pliers and try. Anybody else had this hard of a time.
OK guys. Please help. I pulled and pulled on the socket for the passenger low beam. It finally came off along with the bulb and the spring. So since it seems impossible to replace the spring that holds in the bulb I figure I need to take out the whole light assembly. Loosened the four bolts that hold it in but can't seem to get the assembly out. Seems like it is too big to move forward out of the body trim. What am I missing?
Haven't been the done that.. but what I've read says remove the bumper cover.. "might" be able to loosen that side enough to wiggle it out?
If you have the 4 mounting bolts removed, the eyebrow light removed and the harness disconnected, then remove the screw-in adjusters on the bottom two attachment points. This will give you JUST enough extra room to get it out.
When you put it back in, screw the adjusters in about 1/3 of the way ( after it's in place ), put the eyebrow light back in, connect the harness, secure the 2 top bolts then screw the bottom adjusters in until they just contact the body mounting tabs. You can now insert and tighten the two bottom bolts.

Just had to remove the screw on top and just to the right of the headlight assembly. That let the whole front panel flex just enough to get the assembly out. Once out, replacing the clip and the bulb was a no brainer. But what a PITA job just to replace a bulb. Can't believe how tight that socket was on that bulb. Only way to separate socket from bulb was to put a screwdriver between the two and pry. Once I had the battery negative cable disconnected and then reconnected I thought I would have to go through all the black magic to disarm the seatbelt chime again, but it still seems to be disabled. If reconnecting the battery doesn't do it I wonder what does. I don't miss that thing so I am glad it is still quiet. Thanks to all for your help. Glad to be associated with such a great forum.
Thanks for the write-up and pics. I wasn't 100% sure that the connector wasn't attached with a clip or anything, until I saw your pics. Took 5 minutes to replace the passenger headlight.
I have very strong hands from my job, but that stupid connector took a solid 2 minutes of pulling before it popped off. At first I thought I broke something, but all is well. I wasn't anywhere near my toolbox, but next time I'll use some 45 degree needle nose pliers instead of my fingers
Use surgeon type nitrile gloves to avoid getting oils from your skin on the new bulb

I can't remember last night, let alone last year.
Hi! This was great, but my light is different. I am a complete noob, but I think the previous owner put in a custom light, and the connection at the bottom of my bulb doesn't look like it comes apart the same way. I'm adding some pics (I think). Can anyone tell me if it's okay to try to yank this apart?
This is crud. I have a 2006 coupe and there is no way that it can be changed like that. I almost lost a marriage over that headlight. Please.
I'm all thumbs and half blind, but was still able to do it, all four bulbs !
Step 3 I can't seem to do, pulling out the connectors, any tips?
Edit: just finished reading entire thread, will try needle nose, if that doesn't work, off to a mechanic :/

After autozone, Midas and myself failed to disconnect the wire plug, a truck mechanic at my work place was able to do it, then he took the pin out as I was telling him to leave it in lol. 30 min later he finally got the pin back in and I'm good to go on the headlight now
