I would ALSO caution you that, as also been said, 0W40 won't be available in conventional oil - and using anything heavier than 5W50 is warned against in these engines.
You won't save enough to make it worth it, gerry. I KNOW you have WalMart out there - run in there and get two jugs of 0W40 and stop by Advance or Autozone (NAPA will be pricy) and get a Fleece filter - they cost about $12 and you are good to go for around $40
$40 is a little conservative Pizza - by my math buying the oil at Walmart, $25 each for 2 jugs of oil $12 for a filter minus $10 for 2 unused quarts of oil is $52 and change plus tax. Still not a bad deal.
