Guess you haven't read through the threads.. you CAN use rca ports off the head unit regardless of coupe or roadster - and you can use speaker leads regardless of coupe or roadster. The deciding factor is your own preference along with the 4v vrs 2v output of your new HU. Let me guess.. they hooked you up with RCA connector... and that's because it's all they offer. Been there done that and hit ebay for the speaker lead connector. BOTH my roadster and coupe are hooked up via speaker leads. But I'm sure Crutchfield knows more about this than what 10 years of forum experience.
