Gary's times were just under a 1/2 sec. improvement with his automatic, and no other changes except the NW CAI (if I remember correctly). Steve noticed the same improvement on his 6 spd. roadster, and I think I've read about other's who had similar results as well.
I know the CAI costs more than the tune, but I think it offers greater (stand alone) results. Of course, installing both is the best way to go.

If I cared about drag racing, I'd have both mods on my car. But other than pulling hole shots on people at traffic lights, and having fun at the Dragon, my racing days are over.

Much like you - just having a little fun here and there is good for me. I've spent a little time looking for N/A "hardcore" performance gains from the intake and haven't seen any myself. Everything I've found just points to the 6. We all know the OEM is restrictive.. but testing on the N/A just doesn't seem to be any real priority. Even the 74mm TB upgrade comes with a decent guestimate and general consensus .
