As I had stated before from having the DAS system and looking around in it.. Your skreem module is pre programmed to accept 10 or 15 codes (I don't recall exactly) and that information is on record with them to be able to provide another key.


At least now I know why those fobs keep showing up on Ebay... seems people will spend that 60 bucks..


There was an auction.. by a Chrysler dealer I contacted and asked them why they would be selling a key fob that was useless... "it was for a customer that never picked it up". Apparently they didn't even know it was useless and ended up pulling the auction.
