Yea, you can't miss the sound. With the fuse pulled, the car will generate a P0410 or P0401 code (can't remember which and I'm too tired to look).
If that pump runs when it shouldn't, then yes, the O2 sensors are going to see stuff they should not.
Just a thought.... When the O2 sensors were replaced could they have plugged them in backwards. Bank 1 Sensor 1 is plugged into Bank 1 Sensor 2 on the PCM?
