So use a sensor that is designed and made for a smaller housing to misjudge the airflow.
And will have sensor read it is not getting as much air when it is actually getting more.
It's not like it's the jet in an old carb.. you have other sensors and the computer to fine tune the mixture...
But hey if your happy with what you have.. then carry on...
