I got tired of "car won't start".. "replace your fob batteries" on facebook .. so did the vid to clarify how important they are to starting the car .. I seem to recall reading either in the owners manual or service manual turning the key to on - run position (letting the car "read" RFID chip) is supposed to deactivate the alarm system also..
