After I changed the batteries on the fob, i unplugged the negative end of the cars battery and waited for couple of minutes. Connected back and boom, it worked. I dont know if changing the fob batteries were really dead or there was something wrong with cars system and it reseted when i disconnected the negative end but i am glad it worked

Is it possible that the battery in the car was dead? If the car battery is dead then the signal from the fob may not operate the CLP/SSM in the trunk, after all the system the fob signal operates is run by the battery.
If it happens again, get a new battery put in the car.
