I'm sure you can program the lock-unlock buttons to your car yourself.
But the RFID chip in the key that starts the car has to be programmed to the VIN by the supplier.

The dealer does not "program the key to the car", they only sync the fob with the SKREEM for hte lock-unlock to work, You can do that yourself in 15 seconds.
