The most someone could have left teh car out is fourteen years at this point.

FEW of us leave ours outside. Mine was outside for almost four years with no issue, but if you live in the south where it gets warm and the sun is strong, even if you treat it twice a year, the top will have a limited lifespan. Remember, it's a FABRIC top.
