Just to make things clear for the future.
An old post but it is stated that the two parts are different because the numbers differ.
A 112 201
06 01 on the motor
A 112 201
09 01 replacement
They are the same basic part but the replacement is a modified version of the original part. The 09 is an modified version of the 06 pump. The 01 is the item number, 112 is the car model the pump was made for originally and the 201 refers to the cooling system. In this case the mod is for the SRT/SLK32 SC engine.
I think the 201 number should be 200, ????
The Mercedes part numbering system is a bit confusing.
