Looked at the water pump in my NA Crossfire coupe and saw that there was a boss for a third outlet but it was sealed.
Was anyone able to find the 3 port waterpump for 05 SRT Coupe? Last one I ordered had the oil cooling port sealed over?

I had bought it here long time ago for spare.

An old post but it is stated that the two parts are different because the numbers differ.
A 112 201 06 01 on the motor
A 112 201 09 01 replacement
They are the same basic part but the replacement is a modified version of the original part. The 09 is an modified version of the 06 pump. The 01 is the item number, 112 is the car model the pump was made for originally and the 201 refers to the cooling system. In this case the mod is for the SRT/SLK32 SC engine.
I think the 201 number should be 200, ????
The Mercedes part numbering system is a bit confusing.

The SRT pump costs more than the NA pump and it has a different part number of course. NeedsWings springs to mind as a supplier.

Water Pump - n/a
Mercedes part#112 200 15 01
Chrysler part# 05097159AC

Bosch part# 99176

Water Pump - SRT6
Mercedes part#112 200 13 01

Chrysler part# 05102894AA

Hello Friends, I found a coolant leak on my SRT-6 in the area where the water pump is located. I can't track down the leak exactly, but I believe it may be a failed gasket as it appears the water pump part that spins and is attached to the serpentine belt is in reasonable order. I have 125k miles and figured I'm just going to replace the entire SRT-6 water pump at this time.

I found a lot of aftermarket water pumps using the above mentioned SRT-6 part number, and would like to ask if this listing is reasonable to use? https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Water-P...1/172433268997

My understanding is that many aftermarket SRT-6 water pumps need to be tapped for one of the bolt holes and that they also have a different alternator placement arm vs. N/A water pumps.

Any advice or confirmation on that aftermarket SRT-6 water pump?

Don’t know anything about the brand but the pump has the correct fittings and good price. I changed the pump on one of my SRTs and if I remember correctly I had to tap one of the holes, no big deal.

Great hint/suggestion from a prior member, as you remove the bolts from the old water pump, place them in a cardboard copy of the waterpump holes so you do not mix the bolts in the holes. SOME BOLTS ARE LONGER/SHORTER THAN OTHERS! You do not want to strip out or bust a bolt in the wrong holes!

Graphite’s advice on the bolts is really important but even better when you remove a bolt slip it into the corresponding hole in the new pump, when the old pump is off swap the bolts to the old pump and install the new. Better chance of keeping the bolts in the proper positions.

The part number in the ad is correct, but the price seems too cheap, does that signify poor quality?
Let us know how it is when you get it.

This sounds like a preferred method for keeping the bolts properly located in the water pump.

I have found a reasonable price!

https://www.ebay.com/itm/For-R170-W2....c100167.m2940

It looks like It only comes with one type of gasket, though. Will this gasket style work for our SRT-6?

I seem to remember using the flat gasket not the round. The one in the photo with the new MB pump looks like the round material one.

If the pump housing has a groove in it you use the gasket shown. With the gasket they show we can assume it has the groove.
Some pumps do not have the groove so they use a flat gasket.
Some pumps come with both gaskets. I would prefer the gasket they show, make sure the mounting surfaces are flat with no raised marks from prying it off.
