Gary they do interchange,, just swap the yoke on the diff the srt yoke is larger ,,with the std shift ,,it all works ,,with a auto tranny you need a new tcu set up for the rear in the car,, I have swaped about 40 of them so far ,, i have a 307(srt), a 327 (limited) and a 346 all with tcu for a srt i sent u a pm .. this is a easy and simple swap .
axles are the same ,,,only 2004 has 2 piece axle and there you use either a 2005 or newer imited or srt axle

Thanks, that gels with everything I've seen / read so far. Everything from a SRT6 has bolted on to this car so far (Brakes, Springs, Sway Bars) and I really couldn't detect a difference in the housings. Mine is a 2005 so I'm thinking the axles will work ok.

It appears that it will work, and they think it will as well. They want to verify some dimensions after I get my hands on the diff before committing.
