I think you have missed the point of the current restrictions which are to avoid an unmanageable spike in infections which would overwhelm the system. A lower volume of cases at any given time over a longer time period will make the virus more manageable.
You seem to be advocating getting the virus and spreading it around and letting the poorer and older low hanging fruit as you call them die.
