I feel more at home with the BlueDriver, I should use the Vident more often just to see what it can do.

Anyway, I am thinking of getting and using the setup described in this thread, I was all set to go with the John and Terry then the OBDII365 gets thrown into the mix in place of the Micropod.
The Micropod later is seen as the way to go, does that still hold true?
Thanks in advance for any replies.

Hello, Yes, this is the correct Micropod 2, sold by OBDII365. The only known difference is mine cost $170 (not $139). All indications are that it will still work fine with the DRB III Emulator, as it did for myself and others.

It now appears this newer version of Micropod 2 hardware doesn't come packaged with the DRB III Emulator software, They want to charge another $220 and sell you the VCI Pod in order to get the DRBIII Emulator software.

If this is an issue, I will be happy to send you a copy of the software at no cost.
