For myself, I get great personal satisfaction and reward when independly searching and reading about a topic to learn how to do something. Getting and using the service manuals, specialist training material, and tools was a natural must do thing for me to do. I cannot thank onehurndred80 enough for the many hours researching I'm sure he put in to create the Index of Crossfire Problems, Repairs, and How Too's post that he documented. It was possible through the generous hours and effort forum members put in to find or create all of that content. That is a gold mine of information. I've downloaded most all of that material and reviewed it. This site has a wealth of information posted over so many years.

I realize not everyone else is so inclined. I don't judge that. It's more the norm these days. One of my next door neighbors does not know how to fix or repair anything, but he has the income to pay people to do what he wants and that's fine. We have many forum members that know little about cars or mechanics and they do need help and guidance when they have car problems. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. I also absolutely understand the knowledgeable forum members, who are very willing to help others, get tired of answering the same questions over and over.
