...........and the people with no cents nickel and dime us to death.
(it is ones own reward to be able to discover threads like this. Reading these rising tides of emotions is much more enjoyable than Sudoku or Jumble Word.)
Gave up on the popcorn, just slowly glazing over with a cold one (on and on and.... I forgot what I was doing)… For everyone within internet reach (including aliens but not knowing any myself) the SERVICE MANUAL (easily downloaded) will just about cover EVERY nut/bolt, bulb, control, wire, tire, and everything in between including a sometimes overly technical operation and description of every sensor, wire, tire, and ect ect and so on. Feel free (at YOUR leisure), to peruse to your hearts content. WHEW... All this and only on my 2nd 12 oz!
All cars today are the same sensors, same systems, same controls. Sure, there are small technical differences, but even the diagnostic codes are essentially the same between manufacturers.
YOu can google "Camshaft sensor" or better yet "Camshaft Position Sensor", and do this with every sensor. You can even google "Mercedes P0410" and learn about each code the car generates. (Always put MERCEDES before the code as there ARE some differences between makes).
The point is, every car uses cam and crank sensors, IAT, MAF, oxygen, water temperature and other sensors in the exact same way. Only the minor tweaks about timing and fuel mixture change, essentially every car on the road has an ECU that is doing pretty much the same job as any other, with the same inputs as any other.
I once had a P0452 code - googled it and in about 1/2 hour, I knew how the Evap system worked. A five minute check on the top of the fuel tank with a voltmeter showed that the ground pin had become corroded cause *Someone* was not careful when giving the car a sponge bath and let a few drops of water get on the fuel tank connector. (I didn't want to put the top up as I wanted to detail the lid, etc.).
Same goes for my EGR code, that was when I figured out I could put in an EGR disable switch under the dash and eliminate some of the N/A's throttle lag.
thank you sir. great input! this is the kind of data that we need. and i wish it was all that we get. i think it is what ends the quest. thanks again.

but it is in vain trying to make they reason. and they dont realize that are voluntarily exposing themselves, showing a psychological sick pattern to all. sort of parading with a banner saying: "look, am nuts and full of hatred"
For myself, I get great personal satisfaction and reward when independently searching and reading about a topic to learn how to do something. Getting and using the service manuals, specialist training material, and tools was a natural must do thing for me to do. I cannot thank onehundred80 enough for the many hours researching I'm sure he put in to create the Index of Crossfire Problems, Repairs, and How Too's post that he documented. It was possible through the generous hours and effort forum members put in to find or create all of that content. That is a gold mine of information. I've downloaded most all of that material and reviewed it. This site has a wealth of information posted over so many years.
I realize not everyone else is so inclined. I don't judge that. It's more the norm these days. One of my next door neighbors does not know how to fix or repair anything, but he has the income to pay people to do what he wants and that's fine. We have many forum members that know little about cars or mechanics and they do need help and guidance when they have car problems. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. I also absolutely understand the knowledgeable forum members, who are very willing to help others, get tired of answering the same questions over and over.

I do not understand the person who can go thru life SO dependent on others that they can't even change a tire or replace a light switch (to use two random examples). Of course, I never really learned to cook - so I can't talk!
