Can the ignition switch and door switch be replaced with a more conventional type key switch?

Hahahaha
Brother, Perhaps you’ve forgotten where you live.
USA, Everything is setup to make money.
In the last 3 months, we’ve discovered that there are 2 sources of aftermarket Key/SKREEM and 1 source of New Fobs (Chrysler)
Prior to this it was a desert with no keys to be had, anywhere!
So at this junction you have to ask yourself, if I have one key left, do I open the wallet and buy a second or take a gamble that I don’t lose it or break it.
I know that when there are no options, you’re looking at it sitting on the driveway and it’s not rolling because you don’t have a key. At that point, lots will say “gee I’ll pay any price to get my ride rolling again”
I suppose it boils down to how much is the ride worth to me and what can I sell it for without a key
or
do I park it in the front yard and turn it into a planter.
with no key, that’s it’s all it’s good for.
Recently I’ve seen several negative comments directed to long term sponsors of the forum, “they’re gouging” or are “too expensive”. These vendor/partners have been there with hard to find items and a knowledgeable advice. i.e. Needswings
If the car is to expensive to operate, perhaps it’s time to sell it.
we all need to make choices.
Make a choice either I love it and will pay to keep it running or not.
choices, choices, but I suppose complaining about the price is a Choice too.
