I have had no trouble with the cup holders on my two Crossfires, the first one was brand new and I never used it and soon replaced it with the bin. On my second Crossfire it worked but I replaced it within a week with the bin. As far as I know it still works as it has sat on the shelf in a box since 2011.

My ash trays all worked faultlessly until I took the last one out for the first Double DIN mod and replaced it with one that was broken rather than saw a good one in half.

As a matter of absolutely no interest to anyone you can put $18 or $19 in Canadian loonies and toonies in that coin holder for emergency use. It is quite safe from the sticky fingers of lot boys if you take your car in for service.
A loonie is a $1 coin in Canada, you should be able to figure out what a toonie is.
That’s right it is about US$1.56😉
