I don't disagree with Toolman often, but I think I do this time.

A detected "gross leak" (loose fuel cap or broken hose from tank to filler) is the P0455.
The P0444 is a purge solenoid error code. I suppose a large leak could set this one, but I really think it's related to the purge valve.

I'd take Toolmans' advice but be prepared that, if it comes back or won't correct, there is something deeper involved.

In any event, once you get it resolved, would you do us a favor and come back and tell us what it was?
