We are dealing with a killer disease, let’s just play it safe. Even those cured may have lifelong problems.
1) I do agree the language used in the USA is a problem. Once upon a time, Ds and Rs got along and worked together. Today, anyone a person disagrees with is "an idiot" or "I hate them, I disagree with them".
I have no answer for that one.
2) Christianity has nothing to do with it, stop obsessing on YOUR hate for Christians, Christianity in the USA is on the decline. It's a SEVERE decline.
3) I have now lost count of the number of personal contacts of mine who have had COVID. None died, none are hospitalized and none are living with lasting symptoms. While your last statement is accurate, it is an extreme minority who suffer any lasting effects.
4) I told you months ago, that some of us are immune, as I suspected, it is becoming clear that I'm one of them. COVID has gone thru the office twice now in a year, Iv'e never been sick, and I don't distance or wear a mask very often, only when forced to. As I told Phil, this is NOT the Andromeda strain. This is not "worse than sci-fi".
