You are very fortunate that the car is running at all.
But what you MUST remember, is that any surge/spike or reverse polarity application of power can impregnate electronics with impending failures.
If the car develops an odd electrical issue in the next - whatever, keep in mind what happened. The car is now capable of doing ODD stuff, so when you get a "no crank", and everyone tells you it's the RCM - keep in mind that fixing the RCM may not get the car running. ALWAYS remember that there is a history with the car that damaged the audio amp, and that a lot of other modules were subject to the same.
