I had the same problem with my 2004, same dash lights on and same spoiler issue. I bet your cruise control isn't working either. Mine threw the same code that was Vehicle Speed Sensor. You need a higher end code reader that can read ABS codes to get down to which wheel speed sensor is bad so I took it to an independent shop that specializes in European and Mercedes and had a higher end code reader. It turned out to be one of my rear wheel speed sensors had failed. In the mean time, if you want to put the spoiler down you can do it by shutting off the car and then I believe I turned the key to just the "on" position without starting it again and then lowering it with the switch on the dash. Once it is down pull the fuse to it. If you don't pull the fuse it will keep deploying as soon as you start driving and then stay up while the light to the dash switch is blinking and it won't lower by itself or let you lower it with the switch until you shut off the car, turn the key back to the "on" position and then use the switch to lower it. After someone replaces what I can almost guarantee is a bad wheel speed sensor you can put the fuse back in and all will be in working order, including cruise control.
