OK, I get it. You are one of "them": "I love the car but want it to be like all other cars and it isn't, what do I do?"

I don't mean to be unwelcoming, but after thirteen years here and three Roadsters, and so many posts like this, my advice is sell the car now that the values are up and move on.
YOu'd love my Ford Ranger's shift, it is exactly what you want. You cannot compare the two.

And the complaints about the manual shift in our cars? Nothing new. There is no fix, and as engineers around me say (when I tell them I don't like how the radio they designed operates), "That is expected behavior". That is their polite way of telling you that you are wasting their time.
