Hi all, long time member but have not posted in a few years and couldn't remember my login details. Basically, I have owned my coupe for almost 12 years, and it's been really reliable up until 2 months ago! Yep, the dreaded ignition failure, and it's been a nightmare! Having to drill out the barrel because the little pin thing won't push in and I have watched the video via this site, which has helped massively! In the "Sticky Key" thread there are posts from people who have had to drill out the pin, lots of advice in there.
There really is no short-cut once it locks up like that, tho. You will get there, just takes time and effort. And it helps if you are nimble, thin and young - which most of us aren't.
