It is easy to read a post and miss the obvious, I do it all the time. BUT, for some reason, I saw that statement while others didn't.

Use the special tool that came with the car (or a slim flat blade screwdriver) and shift from Park and drive the car.
If the speedometer does not move at all when you drive, order a new RCM.
If the speedometer works fine, we have a lot more investigation to do.

My RCM failed, I ordered a new one AND I sent my bad one to DJ for reworking, that way, I have a spare. RCM failures are common. REAL common.
