Tired of regluing different spots on the top every 2 to 3 years. Decided to get a new top from GAHH. Installer wants $800. Although it will take them like what 90 minutes to remove and install overall price seems fair since there are so few shops in my area who do the installation. I am in CT.

My top was $740 delivered from the UK, today they get around $850us including delivery to the USA. I don't know where you are (there is a reason we suggest people clearly indicate their location in their profile), but those prices seem awfully high to me.
The guys put it on for me at our Eureka Springs meet before breakfast. Cost me breakfast for two guys. Over here in the USA, we have members that will do the work for $300 to $1500 depending on how gullible you are. Common "come to my house" price is $300 and even less at times.
You can (at least with the BAS top) do it yourself with only a little coaching from Youtube videos made my a few of our members. You need only a few special tools that you can find online. BAS sends all that you need, even new rivets, you must reuse the clips from the bow, but that's no big deal.
