Well, there is why it's beeping. If you simply look at the diagram you will see why you can not disconnect it, the BCM is now showing an invalid position for the wing. If you want it to stay up, simply press and hold the button until it beeps, it is then locked in the UP position and the BCM will be happy.

Mystery solved.


On a related note, this is why I wrote the post in my sigline about how to ask for help - you MUST tell us the full story or we all both wasting our time. Now that you told us the full story, there is no mystery here. The system is working as designed.
