The gas cap only locks when the fob is used to lock the car from the outside. It stays unlocked when you are diving.The pump outlets are for the drivers door, passenger door and hatch/trunk and gas tank cover. The hatch and passenger door can be programmed to open when the drivers door is opened from the outside. When the roadster console is locked I cannot say, probably when the car is locked from the outside.
If i was not in such pain, I'd go test it, but I believe the console in the roadster is locked/unlocked with the driver's door. I'd bet money on it.
