The reason why I put the refurbished one back in is because the horn works without the key in the ignition.
As I said in the title of the post; What if you're sitting in your car and some idiot is backing up and is going to hit you?
With the brand new RCM you can't honk the horn without the key in the ignition. By the time you put the key in the ignition, turn it to the on position and then hit your horn, you have a dented car.
With the refurbished one by tighed1, I could honk the horn
without the key and hopefully the idiot would stop and not hit my car.
