Everything you are experiencing can point to a weak battery. What I would do:

1) Do Jame's mod here:

2) Replace the battery if it is four years or more old OR if you have allowed it to "go dead" to the point you had to charge it or use a booster battery to start the car.

Between those two items, MOST of the time (not all) the flaky wing behaves. You can have a brake controller/wheel speed sensor issue, or perhaps the Traction Control output of the RCM is flaky (but probably not, if you are not seeing a BAS/ESP light).

The same condition that causes the BCM to raise the wing can cause CAN BUS errors. In fact, the BCM will put the wing up if it's having CAN BUS communications failures; my theory (which may not have good legs) is that the default is to put the wing up if the BCM is not being updated by the Brake controller on vehicle speed.
