This same thing is happening to my car now. It beeps once and then I see an oil can icon and HI...then it goes back to the normal odometer. But it's happening on a regular basis now.

There is one other thing, over on one of the Facebook pages, I saw where this "HI" alarm was coming on. Oil level was fine, the sensor was acting up;, replacing the sensor did it.
But for over ten years now, when doing an oil change, I only put in 8 quarts - period. And I
DO NOT keep adding oil until the level gets exactly on the top of the mark like some do. These engines can run up to two quarts low with no harm being done. This is NOT your 350 V8 from the 70's.
