Pop just got a 05 Chrysler Crossfire. Been trying to figure out why the top doesn't work. When pulling the D ring he said the windows used to roll down but no longer.
There actually is a loose connector than runs on the right side of the trunk from the central locking pump and not sure where it goes.
The wire with the connector on the floor looks like the wire for your trunk light.
The big gray piece laying on the floor looks like the holder for the trunk divider.
If you look on the left side of the trunk, there is another gray plastic piece with a curve in it that looks like the one laying on the floor.
The trunk divider hooks into both of those gray pieces. One of the pieces has a switch on the top. This allows the top to go down. If the trunk divider is not hitting the switch, the top will not go down with the button.
You can reattach that gray piece, and try putting the trunk divider up and see if it works.
However, if the windows aren't rolling down, there is a micro switch located on the metal part above where the passenger's head would be (North American cars). That switch may be stuck or bad.
