If you swap the RCM from the other car and the car starts, it's the RCM. As others have said, you order the RCM for the 2003 Mercedes SLK320, PERIOD.
THEN, you ship your bad one to DJ in Arizona for reworking (he charges about $70) and you will have a good working spare.
