Default Won't start

My Crossfire SRT6 , upon turning the key, the clutch fan turns on, going quickly, but the car won't start. My battery is good in both the car and fob. What could be causing this?

Does the engine crank ? if so it might be RCM problem with the fan going high speed when you turn the key. Very easy to replace no tools required, how to videos on Youtube. new RCM here: https://www.autohausaz.com/pn/MB-1705450305 send the old one to D.J. Tighe on facebook to be repaired as a spare

No the engine will not turn over. We have put a new alternator and battery in it, to no avail....Well it did actually turn over once he put the alternator in, but won't anymore. Just high speed clutch fan comes on

Where is the relay control module located? Is that in the black box next to the battery? Part # 170 545 03 05? I did look at it on AutohausAz but once I put in the year, make, model and submodel(SRT6) it says it won't fit

We have another SRT6 and we will pull it out and try it in the other one. Hopefully that will narrow things down. And No the engine doesn't crank, dash lights cone on and clutch fan only(full blast)

The RCM at AutohausAz is a Mercedes SLK 320 part, which is the R170 platform that the Crossfire was built from when Daimler and Chrysler merged the Crossfire and Mercedes share around 90% of mechanical parts. This is the one I put in my 07 last year here's your part : https://www.autohausaz.com/catalog?v...age=1&sortby=r
Inside view of the RCM module. the fuel relay and engine relay should be closed for the engine to start and run

If you swap the RCM from the other car and the car starts, it's the RCM. As others have said, you order the RCM for the 2003 Mercedes SLK320, PERIOD.

THEN, you ship your bad one to DJ in Arizona for reworking (he charges about $70) and you will have a good working spare.

Ok, so he pulled a fuse and now it won't go back in due to the connector inside the fuse box has fallen. How do you remove the fuse box? Tried to find a video on YouTube but couldn't find it

Are you talking about teh underhood fuse box, driver's side?

IF so, you simply release the catches and lift the "fuse carrier" out of the box so you can get under it. I use a flat blade at the front to free the front tabs and lift the front up, then the entire carrier will come out.
A prying action is needed to kind of push the box wall forward so the tabs on the fuse carrier are free of the box.
