Hey, young man! Haven't seen you in forever! The airbox is working fine...need the nose piece at a decent price...you said you never had that, right?

Otherwise, it's been a tough 9 months or so...a 1-month stint in the hospital and had to start kidney dialysis...

i dont know of any houston groups although i saw another black convertable on greenbriar near work today. and some lime green one down the street at popeyes chicken. that lime green one wasnt well kept.

Got behind a Black Coupe today headed south on I-77. Must've been going 64mph since the spoiler doesn't deploy until 65mph

Very nice vehicle! Love the color (it's why I picked graphite for my Xfire). So in all honesty, what car do you prefer in regards to performance/looks/quality?

well they both have theyre strong points. the eclipse is a 265 hp stock to the xfires 215hp but the eclipse is heavier and fwd. torque steer from a dig is bad hopefully i get a torque dampner here soon to help that.

looks wise i think the xfire looks better no pop up wing one the mitsu. the convertable part is pretty cool. the eclipse looks much better with the top down. the xfire came with cool accesories like the locking gas tank and intermittent wipers, the eclipse came with hids, bluetooth, back up cam and a stock rocksford fosgate system 650 watts with a 8" sub built into the back seat both had heated seats.

quality mitsubishi will never be the same as awell pretty much mercedes. the tranny is a lil more rough
having mivec kick in around 4200 rpm is nice. the door handles on the inside of the eclipse are a lil weak and tend to break. the blue cluster is sweet

i am beating more cars with the new car but it did start with 50 more hp plus ive done a lil more to it then i got to with my xfire.

they are both fun cars i did see less xfires around then eclipses some parts have burnt orange ones out the ying yang.

Sounds like a very realistic and fair evaluation of both cars and I can tell you were and still are a Crossfire fan. I like the Eclipse, my neighbor has one and I think it's a very neat car! We are always teasing each others about our vehicles and which one is better. He has a 2011 Eclipse and that speaks for itself...it's funny to think more people stand around and look at my vehicle 10 years later than his 3 year old car. It's like you said, the Crossfire is just rare and not to be seen that often! Non the less, I drove the Eclipse and it's a lot of fun and I would buy one any day! For now, I'm very happy with what I got though and wouldn't want to trade it

Congrats to your car! Sharp looking ride with beautiful color and rims!

Heading into carbondale to take a movie back I ran into a SSB XFire. The only other SSB XFIRE I have seen in over a year besides mine.

When I bought our 2007 Machine Gray XFire Coupe back in OCT/2008, I found the car at a Mitsubishi dealer in KCMO. XFire had only 1500 miles on the ODO and the original owner traded it for a new Mitsubishi Spyder after only 6 months of ownership. Feedback I got from dealer was the original owner didn't like the stiff ride from a 2-seat sports car! His loss; my gain!

Had not seen more than 1 or 2 XFires in a year since I purchased mine. Now in the last month, I've seen a yellow convertible, brought in for service at a dealership. And yesterday, I saw a blue convertible on North Oak In Gladstone, Mo and on the way home from work I saw a gray SRT, turning on Barry Road, in Kansas City North, not far from the bumble bee police station. Wow! 3 in 5 weeks. Yippie!
