Hello, everyone! New to the forum, and the Crossfire, but EXTREMELY impressed with both! I've been pouring over old posts, trying to absorb as much info as possible. I have downloaded the Service Manual, read up on the capacator stereo mod, etc. Awesome resources here.
Now, I feel acquainted enough to introduce myself;
Just traded in my 2009 Hyundai Accent with $3000 worth of body damage (They gave me $7500 for it !!!!) For this exquisite black beauty.
2005 Crossfire Coupe Limited 6-spd 37,000

I clearly recall going to the Chrysler store in 2004 to buy my mothers new PT Cruiser Turbo, and sitting in a black Crossfire coupe wishing I could afford it. Now I am a proud XF owner. I still can't believe it's mine. ( I've only had it 2 weeks now....)
I recieve compliments about it everywhere.
For some reason the underhood pad shrunk, and was rubbing slightly on the airbox. I removed the pad (need a new one now...) and painted the airbox, as the silver had gotten scuffed slightly. Though not on par with some I have seen, I am pleased with the results;

So, Thats my new baby. Immideate plans include a cat-back, and a professional painting of the windshield surround to OE black. (never cared for the silver treatment on the coupes. I think it looks fine on the roadsters, though.)
Some beautiful XFires here, proud to (finally) be a member.

Congrats on your Crossfire. Some of us have removed the hood liner. In fact the Base Crossfires don't even come with it.

Zorg, I hope you saved a hi-res version of that photo to submit for the Crossfire Calendar in the fall.
