What did you do to your Crossfire today?

I did nothing to the Crossfire but last week I found that my Garmin Nuvi 1490 had died over the winter, It would not work even with a charger on it, so I got a new battery for $7 and fitted it when it came. It now works fine.
I started to take it apart and broke the surround trim before I looked on YouTube and found out how it should be done.
It is an older model and I have a later GPS unit as well as the radio with navigation but that sits on the shelf. I hate to throw stuff away.

Oldster here I still use my Garmin 2539 LMT ! Just used it on a trip to my sons house love the way it get me thru his twist & turns of his large subdivision !
I made the 4 hour trek from Cincinnati to Toledo to pick up the new-to-me car. I'm not sure if they'll be putting the car on their lot or shipping it off to auction. Maybe soon someone in the Toledo area will have a new crossfire!
Ran and drove great. It just rolled over 94k when i took the trip. It just needed new front tires and probably the brakes serviced (turn the rotors and throw on some new pads).
I bent the Speed Control lever on a spare switch to see how easy it would be. I used a hot air gun and it went OK. The stem bent easily as it appears to be all plastic.
I was doing this so that it cleared the paddle shifter.

In the never-ending quest to improve my manual transmission shifting, I put in some MB manual gearbox fluid spec 235.1 that I got from Rob@Needswings. This is the fluid that MB spec'd for the '03 SLK320 and the 2nd gen MB C class.
Note that our owner's manual specs a 236.2 fluid (which is ATF) or 5w20 motor oil (which is motor oil).
After trying syn motor oil and Amsoil synchromesh, this 235.1 fluid is by far the best I've come across. Shifts are not quite like butter, but close. I'll see how it behaves over time and in cold weather.
While I was at it, I also threw some Red Line 75w85 in the diffy.

Surprisingly this fluid does not appear to be synthetic, although all of the labeling is in German, so hard to tell. It's made in France.
All is well on this end. Hope life is good for you & Molly, and I'm sure things are hopping at Bier Brewery (see what I did there?

Well not just today but over the last nine days we have driven the SRT from AZ over to the coast and taken the Pacific Coast Hiway from Santa Barbara to Astoria OR. Lots of fun twisties and beautiful views.
