What did you do to your Crossfire today?
Hi! from Ian
I was replacing my Crossfire's battery; +ve first and -ve last. When was attaching the -ve terminal last the there was a noise coming from the motor? Where not sure. I unplugged all.
Help!!!!!!!!
I am not a mechanic and I am afraid I will fry something.
Ian, very nervous.

I installed Yellow MGP caliper covers bought on eBay. I had a set of the Gloss Black versions, but they didn't show up very well. The Yellow versions stand out somewhat more.
Installed Xpel clear headlight and fog light protectors. Figure for what a new headlight costs, it's cheap protection. This film is really thick.

2004 crossfire, took out of winter storage, would not shift sometimes, shut car off and restarted, then would shift, only to not shift again, took to shop and replaced tranny filter and fluid... Filter was plugged....back on the road ...all is well
If the car was running OK last year it seems a strange coincidence that the trouble would occur just like that. So the filter plugged over the winter? If it did plug up, what was caught up in the filter?
That is a automatic transmission, seen several times after sitting a few months having problems shifting, but don't know what would clog up the filter solid, unless wrong or bad oil or a bigger problem.
I have a 44re in my dodge I use for hauling wood, it had no problems last fall and changed oil and adjusted bands about a year ago, but sitting over winter it had problems shifting when I started back up, dropped the pan and just needed to clean the valve body.

Years ago AZ legal cars could get ticketed in CA. AZ changed the law here for front side glass to comply with CA. I would assume most states have similar laws by now.
Hey everyone. I am new here and have only had my XFire for 3 seasons and I love it. I have been reading and doing upgrades at about 1 per year. I like to start at the rear bottom of a car and work forward and up. Except for safety reasons I will fix that first.
I have a 2004 in Blaze Red Crystal Pearl and I live in Canada. I have decoded some of the VIN and read much about the limited number making it into Canada. Can anyone tell me more about how many got to the great white north. How many in my color made the trip. Also where my Sequence Of Model Production falls in those coming up.
The VIN is 1C3AN69L74X007275 and was made in the USA and imported to Canada. All the details are as follows;

I have searched and decoded the VIN (deadspin-quote-carrot-aligned-w-bgr-2) to find out much of this information. It passed the Saskatchewan Government Standards and Safety Inspection in 2010. The identification number from the department is V388677 and was issued in June of that year. There is also a security feature that includes a Police traceable Invisible Security number of 965337 from Platinum Security.
I will post this in a few threads to try and get a response. Thanks everyone for all of this valuable information on these cars.

Turned down supercharger pulley on the lathe and installed a TEAMRXP catch can dual valve that evacuates under WOT also.....Also knife edged the throttle body...
full CNC billet machined 4 chamber dual valve system with fragola AN 1/2 inch fittings
I Spilt the signal from the amp to the rear speakers.
Double Din now has seperate control of the rear Subs
Big difference.
Also installed an auto dimming mirror from an 04 wreck.
For those looking for a reverse wire to tap into, it's located in a loom around the shifter. It's grey/green
