Well I DID go and DID show it but DID NOT get a trophy! Oh and I DID clean it prior to the show. And if you scroll down a few posts you will see that I DID attend the meet in Ind with Gary and friends the day before.

Sorry guys, I didn't go anywhere in my Crossfire today. But I will have some pics from the Dragon this weekend! Stay tuned!

But I did do this TO my Crossfire.

Installed a MB Air box:

Installed my ' new fresh from the factory' Adam Mesh Wind Deflector:

Yes they are still being made for purchase contrary to what you may have read.

I wanted to make it to Indiana, but other obligations, household repairs and car maintenance came first.

James, do you have a part or number for ordering the Adam Mesh Wind Deflector on their site? I cannot find a link to one for the Crossfire. Did you buy it form another source?

Took the time yesterday to treat the leather seats to a good cleaning & application of conditioner/preservative using Lexol products. Typically do this every year during spring & fall.

It is not listed on their site, but you can email them for details and a PP invoice. James

Did the coolant flush with the G05 today. Winter is around the corner!

At Bald River Falls, the dreaded alarm decided to go off while driving. Annoying for sure.

Replaced the alarm today with a new one A 219 820 32 26. If you plan to do this, have a metric nut available to complete the job.
The new alarm has a mounting stud, not a mounting hole. Just a heads up. See pic.

Here is an interesting fact. Many years ago I installed the Radio Shack buzzer to have a tone when locking and unlocking the car. Recently I had to replace the factory alarm and we all know the updated alarm has the tone for locking and unlocking the car. So now my car has both. But they work opposite of each other. They tone at opposite times so it sounds like my car is playing a tune! I plan to remove the Radio Shack buzzer when time allows.

Today I had the opportunity to have my good friend bluecoupe install my recently recovered roof liner, he then went on to install the five panels that line the trunk. The car is now only in need of a coat of paint on the modified console.

Steering stabilizer R&R...easy peasy job...took longer to jack the car up and put up jackstands than actually changing the stabilizer...test drive this morning to see if it solved the highway dancing!

If it’s still “dancing on the highway” after the replacement of the stabilizer check the front wheel bearings. Loose bearings can contribute to handling issues

there are no adjustments available on the steering gear

of the airport....first time WOW!! I liked the car yesterday, now I love it....now to stay under "the radar"!
