Never thought I would see you switch from the Hankooks!
These were the brand on the car when I bought it from my friend 2 years ago
I'm only buying 2 at a time and I want them to match so I've switched to these and I like them a lot !!!

I don't like mixing tires either on any of my vehicles. Just kinda quirky about that!

Generally, I agree with you on the brands all around. It is suggested that if one tire needs replacement that you do it in pairs. Taking that one step further, I think if all the tires were put on at the same time and the fronts need replacement, to go ahead and buy the rears (with the fronts but not mount yet) then tear up the ones that were on them until they need replacement (and then swap the new ones on). This way you can have some fun (that you wouldn't have on new tires). Ultimately, different brands just might have some varied specs on sidewall flex and traction, so I would do an all 4 replacement so handling is a constant. Just saying!
Mine has had a busy week. I got her back from the body shop where she has some touch ups and a small ding removed. She was detailed inside and out. I also purchased some 3M clear paint protector. Will be installing this when it arrives this upcoming week. Has anyone used this before and does it apply pretty easy? I bought the one for the hood and fenders and mirrors. If it applies easy i will be purchasing the one for the bumper as well.
Now, if we can just get some decent weather here in Ohio... I may get to get her out and have some fun.
Changed out fluid, oil change & filter mobil 1 and a mann filter, differential lucas full synthetic 75-80w, manual tranny amsoil gravity bleed on clutch slave cyl new brake fluid. ( i'll do the brakes later) Have to wait to drive it more to see if all this work was worth it and how long it will take before my body recovers
Its about 65 in Columbus today, decided to take the beast out of hibernation and try to forget about all thats going on. Well it worked, I have that great big smile on my face again, what virus?
Me ? I’m isolating in my driveway, maintaining a social distance on a sunny Sunday afternoon, clay barring with Mother’s new offering and seeing how effortless it is. Listening to my new Pioneer bass speakers made me aware that Cuomo, talking about the Coronavirus during his press conference, was terribly distorted and he had this whiny nasal drone. It might be Electro Magnetic Interference so I’m going to have Best Buy check it out. Also heard we are getting $2,400 shortly after and thinking of buying Apple Stock tomorrow morning after the Market opens.
I have 2 more cars to clay bar. Figure I’ll be happy By Eastertime.
Not today but yesterday took covers off from a long winter, put battery back in, fired it up took it for a quick spin and now waiting for some great weather.....

I've bought a set of SRT-6 wheels today on eBay. It was a pretty slick deal that I couldn't refuse. Paid $500 shipped. The wheels have some imperfections but its easy to fix.

As this is not an "essential product" the delivery date is anyone's guess. Not essential? C'mon! Ain't nobody gonna sit in the car for an hour listening to me say, "In, out."
The center caps on the SRT-6 wheels are different than the center caps for the standard XFire wheels. But things could look alright when you get everything mounted.

Here's a link to a website that will show you the difference. Crossfire Center Caps I'm not advocating to purchase from this website as I consider the prices outrageous!

Later,
Thanks.
Here is the donor car of the wheels I bought. The caps are there so I'll contact the seller about them.
