Washed and degreased with scotchbrite.
Then sanded them till smooth, used some bondo on the marred areas and resanded down to 1200. Self etch primer two coats with touch up using glazing putty and light sanding. Prep-solv them of course for oils, 90% alcohol works too. then three coats of color and two clear.

Took some time this weekend to detail the interior of the 2007 Coupe. Spent time on Saturday vacuuming the interior, along with 3 other cars in the driveway. Spent time detailing the dash, instrument cluster & console.

Then early today, I treated the leather seating surfaces in the 2007 Coupe. I used Lexol Cleaner, followed with Lexol Conditioner. Seats now look "factory fresh" again. I try to do this seating treatment every 4-6 months. Have been doing this ever since I bought the car in OCT/2008.

Later,

Just put some new Falkens up front w/alignment... they won't see 30k.
Closer to 3.
Enjoy the summer.

Sunday one day project.
Repainted airbox and unlike factory I applied 2k clear to it.
Now it'll clean off easier and looks shiny.
I guess it's a improvement over stock dull silver.

This morning I re-soldered the RCM, after the car broke down on me last night, would not start. Fortunately that did fix the starting issue! First week in of ownership, first issue encountered + resolved ! This is going to be fun !!.......

Cheers to your attention to detail on the Crossfires “troubles”

Countless others have spent hundreds .....if not thousands of dollars. 10’s if not scores of hours figuring this out.

You deserve this car and it’s pleasures.

I haven't found a better source to fix these cars than this forum. You'll learn from experience, and that is the best teacher.
