In only 2 years you have wonderfully documented many years worth of tips, tricks, and how-to's. Anybody that likes to spin a wrench on a Crossfire will benefit from your efforts.
I know I have.
Thanks M60A3 Driver. And thanks to Svengooli for being your Huckleberry.
Cheers.
I appreciate the kind words and I enjoy making those posts.
I'm glad that they're helpful to fellow Crossfire owners. I've learned a lot from the members that were here way before me. A lot of these posts were just taking there knowledge and putting them in pictures.
We'll be making more posts soon, after the Athens Ohio event.
Thanks from,
John and my car "Svengoolie"
Took time this past Monday to treat the leather interior in my 2007 Coupe. This leather treatment will keep my interior 'factory-fresh' looking until I do this again in the Fall. I've been using Lexol Leather Cleaner & Conditioner for years - 1x in the Spring; 1x in the Fall. I wouldn't use anything else.
Do all of our cars have an oil catch can that needs to be emptied?
No as mentioned, it is a accessory sold by Rob at Needswings
It is essential to have to avoid all that oil from entering the intake to be burnt off in the engine.
It collects about 3 to 5 ounces of oil over 6000 miles and I empty it at each oil change
We went to the first big car show of the season. This was the Boonton Parks & Recreation show in Boonton, New Jersey.
They close down main street once a year and have a car & motorcycle show. There were over 125 cars in the show.
"Svengoolie" won 2nd place in the 2000 - 2009 Modern Muscle class!
It was a great show, and we'll be going back next year.
Great job!
Great pictures.
I have never thought of the Crossfire as a muscle car but I guess some do.
And yes I am well aware of amx1397 and his very very fast cars.
I have always thought of it as a sports car for grown ups.

Thanks Jim!
I would also consider it a sports car. I guess they had a limited number of classes and trophies so they wrapped everything into classes by years.
I'll be posting more pics of the other cars at the show soon in my "Journey with my roadster" thread.

My Crossfire got its first bath with the new Pressure Washer and Foam Cannon.
Nice mild pressure applying the soap with an adjustable Soap Cannon and a safe pressure rinse with the 40* nozzle.
I used a high quality soap from Adam’s Polishes intended for pressure washing with a foam cannon.
Returned home after enjoying a weekend retreat in Redwood Valley, California. The 2576-mile round trip was an adventure in learning just how great these cars are. Average mpg was 27 as most driving was on freeways, US, or state highways. Ironically it is my right hip, the natural one that required more frequent stretch breaks. The bionic hip is doing just fine. Not bad for 6 months out from the complex replacement of my repaired and smashed left hip. More gym time and longer walks are in my future.
Freya ran like a top. The balance between highway cruiser and carver of mountain twisties makes time spent behind the wheel a joy.
Drive your Crossfire! Finest mental health treatment I know.

I'm glad that you enjoyed your trip.
2,576 miles... and I'm nervous about driving 516 from NJ to OH and then 516 back. LOL
I do have a bad back, so hopefully, it won't require a lot of stops. This is my first long trip and unfortunately I'll be driving solo.
After reading about your trip I feel a lot less nervous.
