I got these safety light "pucks" for my roadster in case of emergency. They have multiple settings for the flasher part, they're rechargeable, allegedly last up to 18 hours, a built in led lite on the top so that it can be used as a flashlight and a hook and magnet so that you can hang it or attach it so that you can work hands free. It comes with a 3 connector usb charging cord, so that you can charge all 3 pucks at the same time. It doesn't come with the plug to go into an electric outlet. It also comes with a carrying case. The case is about 5 - 6 inches tall and about 4 inches diameter. I thought it was a great deal.
Toothbrush scrubbed the inner wheel arch lips to apply ‘Hammerite direct to rust’ later ( had an entire respray and the rusty wheel arches stripped back, cut out and treated just last year but some tiny spots noticed on the inner edges again) 😞

I recently got a big set of those for my roadside kit. I hope I never have to use them.
Drove it for over 300 miles on a western MA vacation - needed to see if all were well before I trek out to Woodward. Ran like a champ - had the opportunity of some good twisty back roads and the usual sustained speed highway driving - cruise control worked quite well. Gas mileage was a bit better than I thought it would be, too. AC totally there, all mechanicals working fine. Love seeing that spoiler go up and down.
After returning from the Crossfires in Athens, Ohio annual event I gave my Roadster a good bath
I have a new pressure washer and a foam cannon and some new products from my favorite supplier Adams Polishes (Shown Below Photos)
The Adams "Rinse Aid" is the best and can be used even if you don't have a pressure washer and leaves you with a SPOT FREE RINSE

Start with the Adams Car Shampoo using the foam cannon - Just 2 ounces with water in the foam cannon and spray
Hand Wash with Microfiber towel

Blow dry with ease and virtually NO WATER SPOTS after using Adams Rinse Aid
I just got back from my longest drive with my car that I've ever done since owning it. The Crossfires in Athens event was worth every mile!
Roughly 1,350 miles total to and from and including driving during the event. It was about 8.5 hours to Athens and another 8.5 hours back to New Jersey.
If you've never been to this event, you should go! The event organizers did a fantastic job and it was a lot of fun!
We did a lot of driving, partying and had a lot of fun.
I need help in locating A troubleshooting suggestion someone gave me on or about Dec 15, 2024
It concerned itself with the RCM, and might help to figure out why my car won’t start. The suggestion detailed putting a lead on the starter relay and reaching the other lead to power.
anyone remember this ? I have searched and searched. Thanks much.

Wife & I had to cancel our trip to Eureka Springs with Crossfires due to a couple of major expenses that popped up on us the end of May / early June. So instead, we booked a couple of nights in a Best Western Plus in Dillsboro NC that has the Tuscaseegee River running along one side of the hotel. We booked a river view room & will stay for a couple of days in the area. Pictures are from our balcony on the 2nd floor.
it was fun driving the 2007 Coupe up here.
Here's an update for those familiar with this area. Kostas Greek Restaursnt in Dillsboro is no more! He closed up the doors back in FEB/25. Place is being re-modeled into something else.

long process, great results.
engine work today
@UrbanE I'm looking for some advice. My fence gate swung closed and I backed into it. It left a scratch down to the primer. I talked to the owner of the body shop near me.
He quoted $600.00 if I bring him the rear bumper. I have no body work experience. Do you think I would be able to fix it myself? What items would I need to do it?
Pictures below.
Thanks in advance.
I took Sven for his 2 year mandatory inspection here in New Jersey. This is like MOT for our UK friends.I'm happy to say that he passed with flying colors.
Here's the funny thing. When I pulled up and got out of the car, it was a young lady (early 20's) that was doing the inspection. I was stunned that she could drive a manual, but I assume they all go through training. After she did the first part with the OBD sensor, her coworker who was checking my car out said something to her. Next thing I know he was driving it to the second part of the inspection! LOL
"Svengoolie" did get a lot of compliments from other drivers waiting for their cars to get done. Most of them didn't even know what it was.
